I should take this cottage off of the web site, but every year I get calls from people who once stayed there, visited people who stayed there, or always dreamed of staying there. So I'm leaving the story of its lost battle here for people who loved it to see. It finally fell victim to the ocean and its mighty energy. What previous hurricanes and nor’easters had failed to do was accomplished by the brief, but ferocious meteorological bomb (microblast) of December 9th, 2005. (See "STORM" in our blog.)
