Chequessett Neck Road, Wellfleet

See for yourself...the views from this summer home reach as far as the horizon over Wellfleet Bay, Great Island, and beyond. Wellfleet Harbor and the intimate Chipman's Cove, which hosts Wellfleet's moorings, are to the left and on racing day you can be the judge as colorful fleets of small sailboats race by class right in front of you from their home at the Chequessett Yacht Club (also golf and tennis) practically next door. Off to the right is Great Island, now a Seashore sanctuary, and beyond that at low tide you can see Jeremy's Point and maybe catch a glimpse of Billingsgate Island, where the original town of Wellfleet sank into the bay.
Inside, this home has all the glory one would expect of a house with a duty to reach to your senses both indoors and out. Warmly comfortable, yet deliberately uncluttered, it will welcome you within its walls for as long as you can stay.
