Until this year, our tenants haven't mentioned irons or ironing in so long, I can't remember the last time. We haven't asked our owners if they provided an ironing board and/or iron for years. A lot of the synthetic fabrics that are so popular today are "wrinkle-fee". But it seems that natural fibers, like cotton and linen, are making a comeback this year, and with them the need to press clothing. Maybe irons will once again be stored up on the top shelf of everyman's hall closet where the kids can't reach it someday. Until then, I use Downy Wrinkle Releaser, a fabric spray that does almost as good a job all by itself.
