The Fisher cabin is not for everyone. It has minimal bedrooms and does not have a complete kitchen. Instead, sleeping is on daybeds on the enclosed sun porch and in two partitioned "bedrooms". Cooking is done on a stovetop or in a microwave, and there is just an under-the-counter refrigerator. But for anyone who has outgrown the confines of a tent or is willing to sacrifice the matching queen beds of the typical motel room for a spacious, pleasant little cottage tucked away in the woods, this is a unique and comfortable way to spend a vacation and still save money by preparing moderate meals and snacks.
